There were 14 residential real estate transactions across Hawaii last year that clocked in above $19 million, according to data recently provided to Pacific Business News from Hawaii Life. Three of those ultra-luxury sales were on Maui, four were on Kauai, five were on Hawaii Island and two were on Oahu. Land sales took the top two spots, with a Kilauea property on Kauai selling for a little more than $36 million in February 2022 and a Kailua-Kona property on Hawaii Island fetching $33.75 million in April 2022.
