AAUW-Kona to host GEMS event at Kahalu'u Manawai in November AAUW-Kona will host a day of science, math, and technology for 5th-grade girls again this year at their GEMS event on November 14th at Kahalu'u Manawai. Since the pandemic, these events have been smaller and conducted outdoors for safety. Due to size restrictions, registrations will be capped at 130. Interested girls should return their registration forms as soon as possible to be included in this special day of workshops and exhibits highlighting careers in the STEM areas.
