Members of our team will be at the public library Tuesday. We are headed to Hawaii island next week! Reporters, an editor and members of our social media and business team plan to post up from noon to 6 p.m. at the Kailua-Kona Public Library as part of our ongoing Pop-Up Newsroom series. We hope to hear from community members about the issues that matter to you. We're also available to answer any questions you may have about Civil Beat or our approach to journalism. Reporter Thomas Heaton, editor Matthew Leonard, social media guru Ku‘u Kauanoe and Ben Nishimoto, vice president of operations and philanthropy, will all be attending.
