Catholic Charities Hawaii's Veteran's Program will hold a Ho‘oponopono Workshop for military veterans on the Big Island. The event takes place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 12, in Kailua-Kona at the Kona Vet Center, located in the Hale Kui Plaza at 73-4976 Kamanu Street, Suite 207. Ho‘oponopono is a traditional Hawaiian practice that helps a person reconcile, forgive and heal spiritually, mentally and physically. The ancient process will be facilitated by kumu Ramsay Taum, a well-known expert in indigenous wisdom, as he shares the deeper spiritual wisdom passed on to him by respected Hawaiian elders and wisdom-keepers.
