PACIFIC 19 Kona (P19) has opened on Hawaii Island. Managed by Springboard Hospitality, the 122-room hotel has been reimagined by Honolulu-based design firm the Vanguard Theory. Inspired by the Pacific Ocean, the property brings the outside in with a series of intentional spaces. A giant monkeypod tree and flora anchor the open-air lobby entrance, accentuated by lush planters, teak slat walls, matching wood shelving, and custom wallpaper designed by local artist Lauren Trangmar that features native royal palms, papaya, ohia, and koa trees.
