News August 1, 2023, 10:37 AM HST The Pāhoa Post Office put up a makeshift awning to help keep rain and sun off patrons, who often have to wait in long lines. July 2023. (Cammy Clark/Big Island Now) The U.S. Postal Service is considering the relocation of retail services at the Kailua Kona Post Office, located at 74-5577 Palani Street, to a new facility 0.3 miles away at the Niumalu Marketplace, located at 75-971 Henry Street. The Palani Street facility would be retained as an annex for mail carrier operations only.
